Pigeon and I will be at St Christopher’s church in Hinchley Wood on Saturday 23rd November for two book readings. The first one is at 10.30am and the second is at midday! There will be signed copies available. Pigeon’s journey is the perfect Christmas pressie as its all about children fulfilling their dreams and discovering London interwoven with the important message of the impact of human littering on our local wildlife. If you are around, do pop along. There will be other fun stalls too!
On 19th October 2019, I was given the opportunity to read my book at the store! At 3pm, crowds of little inquisitive people spilled into Waterstones and waited in anticipation to hear Pigeon’s story. Seven years ago, I was working in Covent Garden and used to spend my lunch breaks in this bookshop. So as you can imagine this was truly a dream come true to be able to read my published book in this store. It is so important to focus on your passion and really strive to achieve your aspirations because their are so many amazing benefits from creating and making your dreams come true.
Pigeon and 1 had our first book reading at Toddlestop, a toddler group in Esher Baptist Church. It was a really nice experience. I read ‘The Tap-Dancing Pigeon Of Covent Garden‘ and then the children had the opportunity of making their very own pigeon puppets!
Pigeon and I had the wonderful opportunity of being on the Jo Good Show on BBC Radio London with Margaret, the owner of the independent children’s bookshop ‘The Alligators Mouth’ in Richmond.
Celebrating literature and London’s bookshops! Pigeon and I had a superb time discussing bookshop day and chatting about ‘The Tap-Dancing Pigeon Of Covent Garden’ live on the Jo Good Show on Friday 27th September! Jo was kind and full of positive energy! Have a look at our photographs!
The Tap-Dancing Pigeon of Covent Garden has been cooing like crazy after receiving this creative photo of Jack and Lola, sent in by their imaginative mummy Mrs Michaud! All the way from Barcelona!
“A great bedtime read!”
Pigeon loves receiving photos and reviews! Remember you can send them through my contact on my website!
The Tap-Dancing Pigeon Of Covent Garden was so happy to be sitting on a bench at the Global Climate Strike 2019 in London! Even though he is getting (sadly) used to stomping feet all around him from unpredictable human behaviour. It was amazing to be part of such a large crowd of passionate people, striking to save our planet!
